McAfee released their McAfee Threats Report: Second Quarter 2012 yesterday, which found the biggest increase in malware samples detected in the last four years!

With a 1.5 million increase in malware since Q1 2012 they also released info regarding newly identified threats affecting mobile devices with the help of 'Drive-by downloads' and Twitter.

With the malware sample discovery rate accelerating to nearly 100,000 per day, the rise doesn't appear to be slowing any time soon.
