At ThreatSTOP, we’re always adapting to keep you protected in the face of evolving cyber threats. Recently, we’ve made some changes to our Inbound Attacks Tier 2 IP bundle by creating a new bundle: Inbound Attacks Tier 3 IPs.
Why This Matters
Our ThreatSTOP Security, Intelligence, and Research team has been busy enhancing our detection capabilities, adding more intelligence to keep you safe from the latest threats. However, as our Tier 2 bundle grew, we realized that the list was becoming too large for some devices to handle efficiently. To address this, we’ve moved several Targets to a new Tier 3 bundle.
Here’s What’s Moving
The following Targets have been shifted from Tier 2 to Tier 3:
- 404 Project by Dshield - IPs
- CINS Army - IPs
- JN Honeypots - IPs
- PostgreSQL HoneyPot operated by Jose Nazario - IPs
- RDP HoneyPot operated by Jose Nazario - IPs
- Redis HoneyPot operated by Jose Nazario - IPs
- VNC HoneyPot operated by Jose Nazario - IPs
- VOIP Blacklist - IPs
This change ensures that your devices can handle the lists effectively while still providing robust protection.
What This Means for You
If you’re using our DNS Defense Cloud, DNS Defense, or IP Defense products, you will have to add Tier 3 to your policy to keep the same protection from the above targets.
Keeping You Ahead of the Curve
At ThreatSTOP, our focus is on giving you proactive protection that evolves with the threat landscape. The creation of the Inbound Attacks Tier 3 IPs bundle is part of our commitment to providing solutions that meet your needs without compromising performance.
