Tomás Byrnes - Founder and CEO
Tom has held a variety of engineering, sales and support leadership positions in both private industry and the military, including: US Army Signal Corps, Radware and Datatech. In the mid 1990s, he was CTO of an ISP and e-commerce hosting company ADNC.com. In the early 2000s, he was Senior VP of Technology at Zero Gravity Internet Group, a venture capital fund that provided the initial financing to Oingo, which you know today as Google Adwords/Adsense. Tom has been involved in the Internet and related technologies since he first logged on to ESANET in 1981.

Dave Roberts
Dave has two decades of experience in networking, computer engineering and strategic product development. Prior to his current role as vice president of strategy and marketing at ServiceMesh, Dave held a similar position at Vyatta where he crafted the marketing strategy that positioned Vyatta as the leader in open networking. Prior to Vyatta, Dave was the co-founder, CTO, and vice president of strategy at Inkra Networks. Before that, he was vice president of product management for Nortel Networks responsible for product strategy of its Layer 2 and 3 Ethernet and campus ATM switches. Dave has also held management positions at Bay Networks, Rapid City Communications, Cabletron Systems, ZeitNet, and AMD. Dave holds ten patents and is the author of three books. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Boris Veksler - COO
Boris has over 20 years of experience in project management, software development and consulting engineering. Boris comes to ThreatSTOP from Betria Systems where he built complex software such as a web application firewall for Windows IIS, a super fast neural networks cluster running 4,000 stream cores, and SaaS offerings products for youth sports market and others. Prior to Betria, Boris served as VP of Engineering and IT for TradeBeam and was responsible for building and operating global trade management systems for clients including Johnson Controls, Neiman Marcus and Tyco. He received his M.B.A. from the Anderson School at UCLA, and an M.S. and B.S. in Structural Analysis and Mathematics from St. Petersburg Technical University.

Brian Nugent
Brian Nugent is a seasoned technology industry executive, entrepreneur and board director, with a proven record of driving software, SaaS, hardware and IT Services companies to market leadership positions. In addition to Accelerate-IT, Brian’s board expertise is currently active as the Board Chairman of Zephyr Photonics, an optical networking provider founded in 1987; and most recently with Brightcloud – a cloud-based security firm that was acquired by Webroot. Brian is a member of the ‘Alliance of CEOs’, the San Diego Venture Group, and is a frequent lecturer at CEO consortium’s such as the ‘CEO Total Access Series’. Brian’s twenty year technology industry operational experience spans executive leadership posts across public and private companies in general management (CEO/COO), sales, marketing, product management, corporate development, business development and customer service across the security, communications, cloud, social media, telecom and data networking industries. Brian was most recently the Chief Operating Officer at EdgeWave, a secure content management solutions company where he led a year-long business transformation process (OTC:EWVE). Prior to EdgeWave Brian was Chairman & CEO of Applied Identity, a policy-driven identity management solutions provider for the enterprise, government and MSP sectors. Applied Identity was acquired in March of 2010 by Citrix Systems (NASDAQ:CTXS). He is active in a variety of charitable organizations and is a Board Member of PEERS (www.peersnetwork.org).
